Dear TAA Members,

The Texas Ambulance Association will be holding our strategic planning session in Dallas on August 11, 2011 from 9AM-4PM. We will also hold our scheduled Board of Directors Meeting on August 12, 2011 from 9AM-1PM. Both meetings will be held at the Love Field Wyndham Hotel located at the entrance to Love Field Airport.

During the strategic planning session, the TAA Board of Directors will establish a plan that will serve to guide the Association for the next 3,5 and 10 years. We will be developing a specific mission and value statement that will serve to guide our planning and the establishment of goals and objectives for the coming decade. TAA By-Laws will be addressed for amendments to be made in updating them to current standards.

The Board of Directors Meeting will conduct the usual business of the Board and will be setting short term goals for the TAA. GK Sprinkle will inform the Board of legislative issues developed from the recently ended Texas Legislative Session.

As always, members are welcome to attend and participate in the discussions at both of these meetings. Hotel rooms are available at the Wyndham. $109 rate. If planning to attend, please confirm with Ron Beaupre. Head count is needed for lunch.
